Over 7 years ago I used GE Money bank to buy glasses from Lenscrafters. This company repeatedly knocked me out of direct withdrawal resulting in late payment charges. I have documentation that shows I repeatedly called and took care of the situation and how much I paid over time on the account. I called to pay off what I showed to be about -. They told me I still owed over -. I disputed the amount, asked to speak to supervisors and requested payment history. All was repeatedly refused. After sending to collections multiple times I have tried to settle for the amount of - that I knew I owed. Repeatedly it has been refused. Collectors are constantly reselling the debt and I have stopped asking for evidence of debt because it is always the same answer, It was not our debt, we just bought it and we do not have any of that information. '' Since there has been no action on this account for over 2 years should n't it be charged off by now?
