I contacted Midland funding because of a debt that i saw on my credit report and they claimed that it is from - and i informed them of the fact that i have never had an account with this merchant in my life and i demanded proof of debt or for them to remove from my credit if they could not find it. i also mentioned that i was prepared to take legal action they they did not reply or fix this error and they replied saying that they needed my lawyer contact information and they will speak to them. after that i sent out another letter to them explaining that my lawyer is not the issue and that they are the issue and that they have now violated my right and they have not provied proof but but they continue to report false debt on my credit and i demanded that they fix it immediately or provide my with proof of this report. it has been almost 2 months and they have not replied to my last letter or have they removed this false report from my credit. i sent them a return receipt enveloped and i track the package and it was delivered to them since - - they continue to ignore me and have not responded or removed this false report from my credit
