This company is reporting an account on my credit reports that they have refused to verify with me. The company is stating I owe money to - when I do n't. I sent them a validation letter in - 2015 and they responded back asking for more information to identify my account with. I provided them with my name, address, and even a copy of my credit report but informed them I would not be sending them my ssn through the mail for security reasons. They never responded. I sent them a - follow-up letter to which they still never responded. Lastly I sent them a letter demanding removal of the item which they received on -/-/15 and they still have not removed the item but yet continue to verify this with the credit bureaus. This company is in clear violation of the law as they have 30 days to respond to my request for validation and they have yet to do so. I am considering legal action if this is not promptly resolved because it is damaging my credit. By law a company can not report an unverified debt and that is exactly what this company is doing.
