Barclaycards wanted to verify my identity after I made a large purchase attempt with my Barclay Arrival Plus credit card. They demanded some very sensitive documentations, e.g. copies of SSN card, driver 's license to be sent. I sent those documentations to the address they provided and have n't heard from them for 35 days. I called in multiple times to try to solve this problem. But their customer relation team just rudely denied any alternatives and kept suspending my account. I tried to jump out of this frustrating mess by paying off all the balance on the account. And yes, they allowed me to pay them while keeping me from charging them. They are even going to charge the annual fee for the card that I ca n't use because they did n't allow a suspended account to be closed.
