I received a letter from Customer Care '' in regards to my Elan credit card. The letter was about a refund in regards to the following link : -I checked my credit card statement and noticed they refunded me $1.00. I called both Customer Care '' and Elan and neither could tell me how the refund was calculated or tell me how much I had been charged for the services I did n't receive. They basically said that 's your refund and be happy with it. The supervisor at Elan told me that Elan had nothing to do with this and she had no idea how the refund was calculated and basically that it was n't their fault. Some type of account review or calculation had to be done to determine the amount of each refund. I think as a consumer who was affected by this, I should be allowed to see how they calculated my refund. And also they should have to show me exactly when I was charged and how much. The people I spoke to at Elan are just passing the responsibility and claiming ignorance of the situation.
