I 'm writing to report questionable activity of - companies attempting to collect a debt from me that is not mine and I did not incur. The - agencies are ( 1 ) Bank of America, the original debtor, ( 2 ) - , -, the junk-debt buyer, and ( 3 ) the - - -, -, who is attempting to collect on behalf of - , -. I received written correspondence from - -/-/-, claiming I owed $78000.00, with no reference as to what it was for. I understand upon initial written contact, the debt collector must provide me with certain information, including an itemized account claiming to be owed in connection with the debt including loan principal, interest, and all fees. Additionally, they are to provide me with the debtors name and last known address. On my own, I discovered they were attempting to collect a debt incurred by a business line of credit through Bank of America. Incidentally, I was terminated from that business -/-/-. The - - -, -, failed to provide me with the above information. I sent a dispute letter to the - - of - - ( return receipt ) well within the


and confusion as to who actually owns this debt, and that no one can tell me exactly what it 's for, is of huge concern to me, and something I wanted to let you be aware of. Considering the above, I wish to inform you again that I was terminated from the company -/-/-, also released from all current and future liability and obligations arising from the operation of that company, known or later discovered. My ex-husband was awarded the company as his sole and separate property in the Settlement Agreement. He warranted to me there was NO unsecured community debt, which means this line of credit was at a zero balance at the time I was severed from the company in -/-/-. Any and all company debt incurred after -/-/-, is the sole responsibility of my ex-husband and his company wherein he is 100 % owner. Of course my Marital Settlement Agreement is legally binding and has the full force and effect of a court order. Thank you in advance for your help.
