GE Capital Retail Credit card department,
I sent funds to my Paypal Smart Connect account that is backed by Synchrony Bank in error. Once I realized it was sent to them, I called -, was transfered to Paypal Smart Connect and hung up on - times by the automated system. When I could finally figure out how to get thru the IVR to a real person, I got transfered again. The IVR would accept my account information, social, or zip code. This processed has been repeated multiple times. I call, get transfered, hung up on/transfered again. When I spoke to a manager, he demanded the adress on the account, I have him my address. This was not good enough, I had to find the address, by calling the attorney that settled my account, and call back.. I finally speak to a manager, - -, he needs to research.Please note that I was never asked to confirm the address. He calls back, I now have to call another department. I call -. I get told I have to speak to someone else, I get transferd. After - hours on the phone, - people, I am told I have to send a payment request in writing to a - . There is no fax available so I can expadite this request. My Smart Connect account was enrolled in a repayment program in -/-/-. There was a settlement reached in -/-/- and the final payment was made -. I sent a billpayment to the wrong - account on -/-/- and it should be arrived electronically on -/-/-. Now I have to have proof of payment along with my signed dated request to get the funds back. Infuritating! This is n't their money and I should not have to dance like a dog throug hoops to get it back.
