I have been communicating with -, the -, and the CFPB for months going back and forth about the balance they said I owed. I FINALLY got a reasonable offer from them and decided to take and it just to be DONE with them. The last rep emailed me on -/-/2015 to say it would be - days until the Recovery Dept had the adjusted balance and I could set up arrangements on the $240.00 as I requested. My next communication about this was a call I received was from Convergent Outsourcing. When was it placed there? If it was after -/-/2015 why would it be placed there with that balance? Why would it be placed there without any attempt from them to collect the $240.00 I agreed to pay, when I asked to set arrangements. The convergent collector was rude, and was trying to ask probing questions when I ask where she was calling from instead of just telling me and huffed and puffed when I asked for the balance, her and the letter that I received ( attached ) the same day both told me I owed $620.00. Told her to talk to her client and call me


I heard nothing. I continue to get calls from the collection agency. Today I called - recovery Dept they tell me they can see the correct balance, and that the collection agency had the wrong balance. They said a balance adjustment was requested -/-/-, the day after I emailed the rep. Meaning, the rep did n't update my balance at all on the -/-/- when she said she did, and instead just sent the wrong balance to collections. She only sent a balance updated once I contacted her via email, once it was already in collections. Now this is negatively effecting my credit, and is being prolong by - as they are stating that I now have to wait another period for this update. They refuse to let me set arrangements with them, even though I told them the collection agency was rude and I wished to set up arrangements that day. At this point I do n't not even know what to say about - lack of service and the lack of urgency in doing the right things, that they are telling consumers they are going to do.
