On -/-/- I was approved for a Synchrony credit card through -. On Sunday, -/-/-, I went to - to purchase a desk chair and was told that I could no longer use the Synchrony credit card that I would have to reapply to their current vendor. I was terribly shocked that after only five months that I have an increased credit line that is null and void. It was suggested by - customer service that I apply for another credit card with their current vendor ; however, this would not be in my best interest in that I have more than enough credit cards at this time. I called Synchrony Financial, and unfortunately, it appears that I am in possession of a credit card with a substantial line of credit that I can not use. This is unfair to me as a consumer, who dealing in good faith with -, am in possession of a useless credit card.
