I tried communicating with lenscrafters several time due to a collection they reported on my credit report even though I paid it off right away. I have all the receipts and invoices that are necessary to prove that this account was paid a long time ago. However, they still reported it. So I called them several times and they told me to send them my documents ; which I did, and months later, they still have n't gotten back to me. I called them and asked and they said they do n't have a number to their dispute department. How is that even possible? How am I even suppose to know they 're looking at it? They would always tell me they 'll call me but never did. So I am hoping that by this complaint, it will open their eyes that this kind of matter should be taken seriously. It 's not like I just picked $400.00 on the sidewalk and much more my credibility as a borrower to have that kind of remark on my credit report.
