I had a mobile home in - - and moved west to -. I had - different people lease purchase and each one progressively destroyed the home more and more. I could not continue managing it and could not afford to fix it so I did voluntarily surrender the mobile home back to Green Tree. This was around -/-/2011. After they picked up the trailer a man called me and said I then owed them - dollars and how would I like to pay it. I explained financially there is no way I could pay a lot. I agreed that day to -/month. He told me they would review again in three months. I talked to that same man again three months later. He cautioned me to never miss or be late with a payment and I have not been late or missed since that time. Over the past year Green Tree Collections has become more and more aggressive and I stopped answering their calls. I am called in excess of - times a week often more than - time per day. I live in MT and I am called before - even though I have told them my time
what are your intentions '' I told her I intend to do the same as I have done for four years and continue to make the payment. She told me well that is not an acceptable arrangement. '' I explained they have accepted it for several years now and continue to accept it. She began yelling at me - I hung up and will no longer answer their calls which are frequent and feel like harassment. Additionally I have NEVER received one thing in writing from them - nothing - since the repossession, until I filed a complaint with the credit bureau because Green Tree was not showing up on my credit at all - now it shows as delinquent and in bad standing even though I am paying what I initially agreed to and I will continue to pay what I agreed to.
