I was contacted by Midland Funding to collect a debt from -. I began making payments and discovered that the debt was not mine. Midland was very coercive in getting me to agree to the payments and denied that the debt was not mine. When I informed them that I would had contacted the - and would be filing a report with the FTC, they contact me and told me they would put a stop on withdrawing payments for the debt and they also refunded all the prior payments. The account was on hold.
