I have an original certificate of deposit from - - and Loans. It was lost in my fathers safe for 30 years. The bank has since closed and the accounts are now being held by Wells Fargo. I went to my local Wells Fargo branch and received little help. I got the feeling that I was not acknowledged due to the potential pay out of a CD for $6600.00 at 8.95 % after 30 years. Wells Fargo said that they researched it and could n't find anything on it. I told them it was not paid out as I still have the original certificate. I would like to be paid out for the certificate. The account number is - - and it was issued on -. It is issued to - - in trust for - -.
