Auto Taking/threatening an illegal action threatened to sue on too old debt
Bank of America Debt collection department,
Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt Colorado
At - hours on -/-/- CST I received a call from a - with Bank of America inquiring about my account. Bank of America had already been served a CEASE AND DESIST letter on -/-/- ordering them to not contact me further. Bank of America violated the FDCPA Section 1692c and FDCPA 15 USC 1692 c(c). - at BOA continues to harrass me, and when I advised the Cease And Desist letter she claims no knowledge. I have on record they signed for it and received it. I also sent a copy to the FTC, CFPB, - State Attorney General and the - Attorney General.I wish for Bank of America to cease all communication, and it would be in their best interest to drop the chargeoff collection as account is too old to collect upon. Charged off -/-/- and WA STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS is 6 years. Bank of America, is a Day Late, and a Dollar Short in this matter! Bank of America continues to harrass me, and - said 'We will sue you and have you arrested'. Vehicle was voluntarily surrendered in -/-/- and i have not seen it since (as I have moved on). Bank of America is now in VIOLATION of the Cease and Desist and is eligible for a lawsuit at this time for violations of the FDCPA and FCRA laws protecting the consumer.I have signature proof from Bank of America showing they signed for it.Reference CFPB -
