On - occasions within the last - months, my credit card company reduced by credit limit by the amount in which I paid down my credit card balance, causing me to continuously have a high ratio and negatively affecting my credit score. For example, with a balance of $700.00 I paid $100.00 and my credit limit was reduced to $600.00. Recently, I paid my balance down to $390.00 and my credit limit was reduced to $400.00.
