Amex Credit card department,
I had a check that was mailed and it did not get credited to my account until a month and 7 days after I mailed it. I assumed it got lost in the mail. I mailed them a - check and when it cleared the bank, - checks cleared the bank the same day. I contacted the credit card company and they credited interest back. I paid in full each time. The next month, they charged me interest again. I called and they credited interest back. The next statement, I mailed 7 days before it was due. It did n't arrive until 8 days after I mailed. They charged me interest and a late fee. I called and they would not credit back my late fee, because they said I had achieved too many courtesy credits. I cancelled - credit cards I had with this company.
