Back a - ago I had to take my - yr old son to the - with a -. Once there I was told by the - that he needed a -. I had no insurance at the time and was given a number to call ( Care Credit ) in which I submitted some income info and the lady on the phone told me right away I was approved for - in - and I would pay them on a monthly basis. I asked her what would be the payments and she said around -. I said ok and got my son took care of that morning. At no time in the phone conversation did the lady tell me how long I had to pay it off just what the payments would be and at the time I was very upset and needed to get my sons - took care of because of the pain he was in. It was a very stressful situation. I made my payments on time every month but then all of a sudden I went from owing around - to - so I called them and asked what was the increase in my balance for?? I was told that if you do n't pay it off in - months they add to the balance, of course I 'm irate and asked them that if I paid if off then can they adjust the other off, of course she said no ... I was not told this in the - office that morning by them. I then called my - office and gave them a piece of my mind as well. I just saw on our local news a report about this same thing and people complaining about Care Credit not giving this information out in the beginning.
