Communication tactics Frequent or repeated calls Texas
A man who has introduced himself as - - calling and claiming he 's calling from - - - has repeatedly called my place of employment, has harassed me, people answering the phone and even spoken to my boss. This person claims I have an old debt that I need to acknowledge and states that he is in contact with my county to get me served with documents. I have requested that he send me something in writing regarding this debt or to give me contact information for my original creditor and he has to refuse to do either but continues to call my place of employment after I have asked him several times to stop. He has threatened to have my wages garnished and even accused me of being a delinquent and telling my boss he 's going to get me on fraud charges. I do n't know how else to handle this, I 'm not refusing to pay any debt I might have all I 'm asking for is proof which he refuses to provide and on top of that he 's jeopardizing my job.
