Credit line increase/decrease Florida
I was granted credit by - who operated - which was taken over by Synchrony Bank. So I was granted credit based on my credit report at that time. Synchrony now lowered my credit limit substantially, stating as a reason information obtained on the credit report. I contested that as the information has not changed. The reasons Synchrony stated in their original letter where they lowered the credit limit are not valid. Those same issues were there when they originally granted the credit, and as an aside my credit payment history with them, and ALL creditors since then is perfect. so I contested their reasons for the reduction, and they wrote back, -, and do not address the issue but use the same boilerplate language. When I wrote a - time pointing out my protest even stronger, I get the same boilerplate response.They will not allow calls and no other way to discuss or resolve the issue. Obviously writing does not move the ball forward on this at all. They simply do not respond to my questions or inquiry at all. They keep stating they made their decision within the law .... But I contend the reasons they state are not valid, at all.
