Debts are in a current Chapter -. According to court documents, almost all of our credit card accounts were sold to Portfolio Recovery Associates ( PRA '' ) .We are in our - yr of Chapter -, and all of sudden we are getting phone calls to our home and to cell phones from them. We do not answer them, but are able to locate the numbers as PRA or associates of PRA. I have sent them an email with our Chapter - account number requesting they stop calling, but asking for an answer to my email, so that I know it was received. Have heard nothing so far. I do believe they are in violation of the stay granted by Chapter - and are also in violation of FDCPA by calling my cell phone. They also need to research their bundles of debt they buy to see how many are in Chapter -.
