I have an account with Belks issued by Synchrony Bank. My credit limit is $300.00. Account balance is currently $310.00. Paid past due amount @ $11.00. Received call from agent with - requesting a payment @ $150.00 which has build up to include interest & finance charges. Informed agent that I 'm on a fixed income, have fallen behind in payments. Slowly getting back on track. Informed could make payment @ $50.00 on the - of - at which time would receive my monthly - payment. Agent informed that making a $50.00 payment would do nothing to help the account after my informing this amount is least I can afford to send. Requested to do not call again on my cell/home phones & disconnected conversation. Willing to establish payment plan, but want my payment to reflect as a payment made toward balance. Synchrony Bank has a very bad method of collection. I am working very hard to pay off all accounts associated with them.
