Encore Capital Group Debt collection department,

Other (phone, health club, etc.) Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Florida

I paid this collection with Midland Funding in -/-/- and it 's still showing a STATUS as OPEN, in collection and 90 days past due as -/-/- on my - and - credit reports. I have made numerous phone calls and disputed this info to the company at least - or - times since I paid the collection in -/-/-. All I have asked the company to do is update the collection iwith the correct info and show that is a paid collection. No such luck as of yet. Every time I dispute this collection it shows up with a new collection reporting date as if the collection is new. Please help!!
