American express reserve issues debit cards based on email verification, not a real identity of the person like social security number.I received a debit card sent by a scammer and I deposited $500.00 towards comcast service for 5 months as a promotion.Scammer even sent me all details about comcast services and when called the number it said - menu. Actually scammer filled my information and gave his email and when american express sent him email confirmation, he clicked and got approved a debit card for - without depositing single penny. I Can not imagine opening an account without real identity of the person. American express reserve agent informs me that debit cards are not fraud protected and buyer be aware. Why is american express is allowed to issue debit cards based on email verification. This is a perfect recipe for scammers and terrorists to transfer money, if american express can not trace the - -. your agency should take action against american express as it is the part of the problem anddamages are enormous and irriversable.. Is it a fact that debit card purchases are not protected from fraud, as they claim.? I do not find that in the accompany rules, it promotes direct deposit of salaries, incomprehensible that this fraud is allowedIf not please let me know I will pursue with american express. --
