BBVA Compass Credit card department,
On - -, -/-/2015 I applied for the BBVA Compass Bank - credit card. The following morning, I was contacted to verify my name, address and social security number. On - - I received a letter stating the terms and conditions and balance transfer checks. On - - the card came, which I activated at that time. The next day I attempted to make a purchase which was declined. When I contacted BBVA I was told the account was under review, but not given any time frame or further explanation from the Bank. On - - I was advised by a CSR that my account has been closed because they were unable to verify my identity.
