Portfolio Recovery Associates is engaging in illegal and flagrant violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act by reinserting previously deleted information on my credit report in an a flagrant and intentionally attempt to make the debt appear to be more recent that it really is. Portfolio Recovery Associates had previously deleted a collections account from my credit report however in retaliation for filing a prior complaint against Portfolio Recovery Associates with the California Attorney General 's office, they reinserted a previously deleted account into my credit report as a collections account in order to intentionally punish me which is not what the intent of the FCRA or FDCPA is intended to do. Portfolio Recovery Associates is engaging in illegal and flagrant violations of the FCRA and FDCPA.
