I had been trying to get a loan modification for a year with Residential Credit Solutions with the assistance of - -.One month before my case went into foreclosure - - called RCS to check status on the process and she was informed the file was in review for a loan modification. Two weeks before they foreclosed on my property, they asked for my income tax returns. They asked me to go to the IRS to get a tax transcript and get that along with a last pay stub. - - called two days later to verify reciept of the transcript and to see if they needed anything for the package, the relationship manager told - the package was complete and she was sending it to underwriting. She called three days later which was two weeks before the foreclosure the relationship manager told her the file was complete and in underwriting but they were going to foreclose on the property. - - quoted her that according to the federal tracking dual act that was passed in - -/-/2014.it was against the law to foreclose on property if their file was complete and in underwriting. The relationship manager said she did not know about the law and was still going to foreclose on the property. I was told not to make payments but to put payments in a separate bank account which i did. i had over $- to bring the note current with quite a few months to spare .They told - - they did not want my my money and that they were going to foreclose. - - asked to speak to her supervisor which she refused to give me the number.
