On -/-/12, I open a file for my client who has a mortgage with HSBC. My client became delinquent with her mortgage when she had a reduction in her income. I have submitted - packages requesting possible loan modification and have been denied all - times. The denials have been for insufficient income or she makes to much money. I was advised by a customer service representative that if client was denied they can request that payments be deferred once a year. My client was also denied for that option as well. Client is not denying she ca n't afford her mortgage but need help reinstating her mortgage after recovering from her financial setback. Client have been making payments when she can but is unable to reinstate her mortgage completely without some assistance from her mortgage company. The mortgage company request the same documents over and over and when speaking to different customer service representatives their is always a different response. I need some help with getting someone to review HSBC processing of my client 's request for modification. I feel there is some unfairness in their tactics.
