I initially spoke to - on - -. They did not give me an account number or any information other than that it was a debt from - - -, the amount they want to collect from me, and that if I had n't called them they were going to take further action '' to collect on the alleged debt. They did n't offer to send me any letter or documentation and did n't tell me that I was supposed to receive any kind of documentation from them. I should have received some kind of letter in order to prove or verify this debt shortly after they initially spoke to me, but I 've received nothing at all. They have tricked me into telling them financial information about myself and my fiance, and the - time I spoke to them and told them again that I have no money and no way to make a payment on this alleged debt, the person I was speaking to asked me Are you saying that you 're refusing to pay for services provided? . I did n't know what to do so I hung up. They did n't tell me that I do not have to provide them information about myself or anyone else, or that I can tell them to stop contacting me. The only reason I know that I 'm supposed to have gotten a letter and can make them stop calling is because I found out via a - search. I can not send them a request for more information or a complaint via their website because they 've never given me an account number. I do n't want to call them because I now know they will not notify me of my rights and they will try to trick me into saying things that I do n't have to tell them or will make me look bad.
