The credit account was fraudulent to begin with according to Colorado State Law. I have attached a copy. Please remove from my credit history/report. - - admitted to filing the collection incorrectly because they did not provide me with an invoice explaining why I did not receive my deposit and why I owed extra money. I have been told this was filed with the Bureaus a while back but it continues to be reflected on my credit report. ... |

Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount April 8, 2015 - I received an intent to sue notification in the mail on a debt to an apartment complex from a company called Wakefield and Associates. I knew this debt was owed and attempted to pay it immediately upon moving out of the apartment complex. I was told repeatedly that they did not have a balance for me so I quit perusing it until I received this summons from Wakefield. I immediately called them to try to settle out of court and set up monthly payments.
