Calvary Portfolio is collecting a debt that is outside of the federal obsolescence time frame provided in the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The original creditor was -. My last payment to them was in -/-/-. Calvary has incorrectly listed that payment date as -/-/- to keep this on the credit bureau longer than the law allows. ... |
Cavalry Investments, LLC Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt May 19, 2015 - I was sued in Magistrate court by a - party collection company that supposedly bought the debt from the original lender. The original lender has had my credit report purged of this debt after they researched the debt. The Debt collection company has refused to do so and filed suit. They have been asked several times to provide original loan documents, last payment info, and papers showing that they actually own '' the debt. The last time they were asked was a court order for discovery and they did not produce the paperwork before the hearing on -/-/2015. The Magistrate dismissed the case... |
Cavalry Investments, LLC Debt collection communication tactics used obscene/profane/abusive language May 4, 2015 - Hello, I have an account in collections with Calvary Portfolio in NY for a previous account I had with - Bank which was a credit card used for - bills. We had a balance of $460.00 as of - 2014 with - Bank which was charged off to Calvary and they are now charging us $1000.00 and will not settle for less than that amount. I have contacted both - and Calvary attempting to settle for at least $500.00 or $600.00 but they will not work with me. This is the only collection agency that has not been willing to work with us.
