CIG FINANCIAL, LLC Debt collection taking/threatening an illegal action threatened to sue on too old debt November 11, 2015 - CIG called my place of employment and told my Assistant that they needed to speak to me in regards to serving me papers. They claimed not to know what the policies at work were but wanted to find out from me. She got a name and number. - - - ext. -. I called - - back and she told me that if I did n't pay on an old debt within - hours I would be served papers and would have to respond to my local courthouse within - hours.
