WAKEFIELD & ASSOCIATES, INC. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt was paid

July 5, 2016 - The debt collector leaves up to 4 voicemails a day stating that there is a lawsuit against us. When contacting they demand an address and social to serve us papers. They have stated that a case number will not be assigned until the papers are served which is false and misleading tactics. They make threats to call employers 100 's of times a day to get you fired and to call family members in a similar fashion until we settle with them or the family member pays the debt.
