Now that I am paying attention to my credit and clearing it up, I asked them to remove it as did the original creditor --who the debt was paid to- and they refused until next year. No payments were made to this company and the original creditor even called them when the account was paid off and removed the account from them and has since sent another request ( in the last 60 days - to remove the account to which they still refuse. I also called regarding an old erroneous debt that a lender stated that I needed to pay even if the debt is disputed & not valid.
