Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt June 13, 2016 - Account Control Technologies ( ACT ) contacted me several months ago in reference to my student loan debt via telephone. I repeatedly asked during the phone call to be sent information detailing the acquisition of control over this debt, and was repeatedly told that they could n't send me any information, that it was up to me to contact the -. My tax refund was recently seized by ACT, and when I contacted the - I was told that they could n't give me information about the debt, and that ACT was the only - to speak with.
