May 15, 2015 - I discovered I had an account placed with NCC, Nationwide Credit, while pulling my own credit report. I called them immediately and arranged to pay in full, though I am STILL unaware of what the charges are for. We are in the process of home buying and I wanted the account removed as quickly as possible. I was VERY explicit that I would pay the account in full, as long as the collection would be DELETED or REMOVED from all of my credit files and NOT merely updated to reflect a 'paid ' status.
