I have insurance, but the hospital never ran my insurance and they sent my account to collections ( Senex Services ). I received a letter from the collections company and paid the bill in full immediately. At the time I made my payment, I was told by the representative that the insurance was not an option at that point and I was responsible for making the payment and that was the only way to get the bill out of collections and off my credit report.
