I had - -, and terminated the service. I returned their equipment, and then got a statement from their company regarding the final bill. After the last was paid on -/-/- in the amount of $210.00 for the upcoming month I quickly cancelled and paid the last bill, I got a bill from - in late - that indicated I had a credit balance of $180.00. This was the last statement I had received. On -/-/-, I received a notice from - - - ( Phone Number ( - ) - that my - account # I had been sent to collections in the amount of $29.00. Never was I informed by - that there was an amount due. The last notice I had indicated I had a credit balance of $180.00. I was told by - - - that they were a debt collection agency. In protection of my credit, I formally asked them to provide me copies of my credit report, and also told them I feel they are in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. To protect my credit, I reluctantly paid them the $29.00, even though after I contacted -, and they admitted I shouldn't have owed anything! This is a - scam, and they are collecting debts without justification
