On -/-/- I responded to a flyer mailed to me by Citibank and offering me $400.00 if I would deposit minimum of $15000.00 into a new checking OR savings account and leave it for four months. You were to qualify for the $400.00 in the first 30 days, and then leave the account alone for 90 additional days to be able to retrieve your money. I did that at the - Branch in -. CA. on -/-/- and on -/-/- I should have had the $400.00 available to me to withdraw if I wanted to. It is now almost a month later, -/-/-, and no money. No $400.00. I was told I was the only one at this Citibank branch that had this problem and last week they opened an " investigation ''. I went to the bank for a 2nd time today and was told that the investigation response came back that I did n't qualify because I did n't open a checking account.. The same guy, -, helped me today that opened up the account. I told him that he knows the flyer said either/or, and had it stipulated both, I would have opened both but it did


I can just see it now. I take my money out and you come back later and say I do n't qualify because I took my money out, even after the promotional deadline passed. '' No thanks, I want the money put in my account immediately. He said he was going to call the branch manager in - in - but I called for her and she 's on vacation this week. This is a scam and a fraud. I do n't believe for a second I 'm the only one with this problem and I have since found others online that have been scammed by Citibank with the very same promotion. I 'm a - school - and I 'm NOT going to stand for this. Please contact me at -. - - -
