Credit reporting company's investigation Inadequate help over the phone California

After noticing fraudulent accounts and inquires on my credit reports, I filed an id theft report with the FTC after which I proceeded to call the companies individually and in some cases received help through this very site which I am E-TREMELY GRATEFUL for.Then, I called TRANSUNION and informed them i was a victim of identity theft and provided them with the FTC identity report number and also asked them to remove the fraudulent items immediately since they are ruining my credit.I also called and faxed supporting documents after which they informed me that they will remove all of the fraudulent items within 24hrs.That was almost a week ago!! These credit bureaus need to be regulated more closely in my opinion because all they seem to do is make things harder for the victims and easier for the perpetrators!! I contacted all - credit bureaus in the same day and so far ONLY - corrected the issues, TRANSUNION and - seem to be helping the defrauders more than the victims.I would like someone to E-PLAIN TO ME why is it that when a fraudulent inquiry is applied to my CR 's immediately and it takes 30 + days to remove even though a fraud allert is posted on all - Credit bureaus? if it 's posted instantly it should be removed instantly.While US, the victims are required to spend countless hours and provide countless proof, and to add insult to injury still have to wait a month+, for all these lazy credit bureaus to finish their so called " investigation '' the crooks are free to keep on going with their fraud virtually undetected!!!
