Round Point Mortgage failed to calculate the appropriate escrow amount for last year 's tax bill, as a result I have stated they need to recalculate the amount I am charged on a monthly basis. This overestimation resulted in an approximate $3500.00 refund from last year 's property taxes, which would be about $290.00 reduction in escrow on a monthly basis. I have attempted to resolve the issue on 5 different phone calls ( all of which were unable to confirm the discussion through email to have a record of these conversations ), and over 3 secure messages. Their poor customer service has added no assurance that this matter is being taken seriously, and has me wishing that my - mortgages that are currently with the organization had been sold to a more customer friendly and responsible mortgage service provider.
