I am reporting Capital Accounts Account No. - for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I am enclosing the letter sent to me by Capital Accounts which shows a misleading collection amount and unfairly adding interest on a debt that the original debtor - did not require. I have also received phone calls in which the representative verbally insulted and belittled me when I questioned the validity of this collection. I have blocked many of the phone numbers Capital Accounts uses to call due to the condescending attitude they have with me when I talk to them. I am enclosing a copy of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act with highlighted sections which express my concerns with this company. Capital Accounts is misrepresenting the amount owed to - by me from the year -/-/2012. - did not charge interest fees on any services rendered to me. The paper work sent to me by Capital Accounts which shows the misrepresent the amount of $670.00 I owed to -. On page - and - it shows $540.00 as the original amount owed to -. - did not charge an interest or late fee to the original debt as seen in this summary.
