- was contacted several months ago to notify the merchant that there are two accounts listed on my credit report ( when I only had one account with - ) that has been paid off and closed. - account ( - ) - This collection is listed twice on my report- - was requested to remove the duplicate collection item. C. Additionally, please change the comments about the account to note that the account was closed by the consumer ( not creditor ) due to termination of services.
