Incorrect information on credit report Account terms Alabama
I have an issue with how Transunion determines my score and what information they show on the report I purchase. I pay for a monthly service and check my score to make sure it is trending positivly. I have called Transunion on two different occassions because it states on my report I have - deliquinant account. But no one can tell me what that is and the report reflects all accounts as current and have been so. When I try to determine why there is such a large swing in my score, from - to - and the only thing that has changed is they updated an address for me. And one that had changed over 6 months ago but they are just now getting around to updating it. The address change they show for - - was my address for the past two years prior to - -. How they report information directly impacts me. Yes, I had issues relating to a seperation in - but I have worked very hard to repair those items. -, -, and - I have paid accounts off, balances down, all positive steps. However, I do not understand why them lagging in reporting accurate information impacts me so negatively. Just because they report an address change within two months, does not mean I moved twice in two months. If credit reports are going to be considered for potential job opportunities, insurance, and credit worthiness, there must be accountability for those who are tasked with those determinations. It should not be so hard to try to correct issues with their reporting when a person does not have control over how they obtain the information or when.
