About 10 years ago I established a home equity line through Citibank. To get a reduced interest rate I linked a Citibank checking account to the line of equity. There were no service charges to be incurred for the checking account. Around - 2016 the bank started taking out $30.00 for monthly service charge. It took a lot of time and effort, but eventually the bank reversed six months worth of the service charges. However, they refused to give me back the $30.00 that have been charged in the months previously. They had failed to send me my bank statements except you in the mail. They did send me my line of equity statements in the mail. I am requesting that the CFBP tell Citibank to give me back the $30.00 for each month it was taken out of my checking account. I am thanking you in advance for your efforts on my behalf. - - - and - - -
