My mortgage servicing was transferred to Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing soon after issuance of the mortgage on -/-/16. Since that time, we 've run into many issues with Roundpoint including related to getting our address changed ( refusal to recognize the correct address ( same as our mortgage property ) ), threatening to force place homeowner 's insurance on the property despite having provided documentation numerous times supporting adequate insurance coverage, and now the realization that they have force-placed flood insurance on our property despite providing proof of insurance on the property which is provided to the entire building through our condominium association. Proof of this insurance was required to obtain our mortgage in the first place. I would have never known that Round Point had done this except for browsing through detailed escrow withdrawal explanations online - and they withdrew $1800.00 from my escrow account without any notification, and despite the fact that they have proof of adequate flood coverage through my condominium association, which we pay monthly as part of our dues.
