On - -, 2017 I received a letter from Hillcrest, Davidson & Associates which used language that tried to make me think they were a law firm. I spoke with an attorney and found out they were a collection agency. The letter said they had been " retained '' and that I had a " pre-litigation claim '' with their office. It also said they would begin " the legal process '' if I did not pay within 20 days. I have 30 days to dispute the debt but that was not on the letter.
