This is aimed towards the BB & T Branch at - - - - Phone number -. On -/-/2017 there were several fraudulent checks deposited into my bank account ( that did n't even have my correct signature on them ) in the amounts of $8800.00, $360.00, $200.00, and $250.00 I immediately went to my bank the next day they were opened ( Monday ) and attempted to file a claim. I was told that i could n't file a claim until the checks posted in my account ... .I said okay and immediately after i left the bank i went to file a police report so they could get the video footage at the ATM that the deposits were made. After a few days without hearing anything at all I went into the branch to see if i could file the claim now. I filed the claim ( on all of the deposits except the $8800.00 amount since it did n't post in my account yet ) and waited to get results on how long i was going to be able to recieve the original funds in my account before the fraud checks were deposited, which is $630.00 as


was very frustrating. Bb & t finally got photo proof of the individual who made the deposits ( and OF COURSE it was not me ) but they still feel that my claim should be denied and on top of that the manager told me i would have to cover the negative balance of - $640.00 in my account! So i am not only falling behind on bills and basically throwing away $630.00 but i also have to pay the negative balance on top of that???!!! This is very very unfair and i wish to dispute this today to get my funds back! I have bills that i already have late fees on since my account was closed for over 10 days until they even made the decision to deny my claim.
