Closing/Cancelling account Alabama

I have an account with Penfed and they recently cancelled my credit cards without reason and without warning. The excuse customer service gave me is that they " could n't verify my income ''. I have submitted my - and paystubs TWICE and they did n't say anything was wrong with them. For them to close my accounts AFTER giving me the cards is beyond unprofessional. If I was n't credit worthy to them, they should not have given me the cards in the first place. Even worse, they closed them just before the statement is sent to the credit bureaus so now it shows me as having a credit limit of $0.00 with a balance of $ -+ which has SIGNIFICANTLY lowered my credit score. This whole situation is beyond unfair.
