Today I found out that I had a small balance on my credit card when for the last two months twice a week my credit card company has notified me via text that my current balance is $0.00. Knowing I had not used the card in a while, and that the text messages from them backed that up, I was surprised to find out that they had reported me to the credit bureau for being delinquent on a payment. Immiditly I contacted them in regards to this issue. They explained to me that the charge was for their annual fee but they apologized that my notifications showed $0.00 Since I did not pay the fee ( I did not know they had charged it ) they charged me with a late fee and interest rate. ( We always pay our account before the interest rate ) During my chat with the customer care agent she stated they understood it was not my fault but that they could not refund the fees, I let her know that at this point the fees were not my concerned. I just want this negative hit off my credit. I told them I would contact the AG and the FCRA and they disconnected the chat ( I have it all saved if needed ).
