Citibank Credit card department,
I get garage doors ( -/-/-- $1100.00 ) from Home Depot on their credit card that offered no interest for 12 months ( 12-month period expiring in -/-/- ). I had to make a small minimum monthly payment. I did not receive my first - statements, and the first - payments were late. I paid the credit card in full on -/-/- along with a $60.00 prior late fees. I was told that the other late fees of $25.00 will be reversed. The fee was never reversed. The card issuer starting charging interest and monthly fees on $25.00. As of -/-/-, ( a copy of the statement is attached ) the $25.00 outstanding balance has increased to $130.00 and this outstanding is reflecting on my credit report as 90-day delinquent. My - score is down by - points.
this 'Home Depot Delinquent Account '. The credit reports need to make a distinction between principal unpaid and fees unpaid so that the credit impairment for nonpayment of bank fees is not treated with the same severity as that for non-payment of principal. Thank you,
